GOOD TO KNOW STUFF

We know that you want your travel to be just 'right' so let's highlight a few things we think you'd want to know and explore

  • your travel is protected by ATOL AND ABTA - All the flights and flight-inclusive holidays on this website are financially protected by the ATOL scheme. When you pay you will be supplied with an ATOL Certificate. Please ask for it and check to ensure that everything you booked (flights, hotels and other services) are listed on it.

  • we may ask you for a non refundable deposit which may be requested when booking your travel

  • full price of travel / holiday to be paid in line with operator terms and this will be advised at time of booking

  • you will need a full passport that has at least 8 months validity before expiry on date of travel

  • you should arrange your own visas if required and we can advise you accordingly

  • for extra peace of mind you should view the British Foreign and Commonwealth travel advice website for any news, restrictions, customs for the country to which you will be travelling https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice. If you are not a British Citizen then you should check with your own countries department of foreign affairs to  enquire about safe to travel destinations

  • you may need to have a series of injections before you travel and in some cases they can be a requirement of entry to a country dependent where you are travelling to ( Malaria, Yellow Fever etc)

  • COVID 19 may still be prevalent in some countries and you should check if a vaccine passport/ certification is required for the country you are travelling to in addition to any quarantine protocols

  • we advise you to take out full travel insurance

  • don't forget to think about travel currency as many locations may not have ATMs

  • remember to pack medications for your health conditions with a few extra days supply
  • some countries have different customs to our own and you should check them out before travelling to prevent causing any offence to locals or risking arrest - some examples follow ( same sex relationships may be illegal, you may need to cover certain parts of your body when in public, what you say and how you say it, being drunk, certain drugs may be forbidden, insulting words and / or behaviour verbally or on social media, drinking or eating in public during ramadan, driving without due care and respect for the law and other road users)
